Grieg Seafood NL’s first generation of fish harvested from sea pens in Placentia Bay are being landed at Argentia and trucked to a processing facility in Bay de Verde.

Port of Argentia is expanding its support to this sustainable industry with a proposed new aquaculture dedicated wharf development, complete with supply warehouses and laydown acreage quayside.

Other support services at Argentia could include net cleaning, maintenance and repair, and the establishment of a research and development site.
