The Argentia Backland Trail, just minutes from the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal, includes 16 kms. of prepared walking and hiking trails that provide breathtaking views of Placentia Bay, woodland areas, various species of local wildlife, and an array of forests, plants, shrubbery, and vegetation.

The Argentia Sunset Park, located just 2 kms. away from the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal, is a fully serviced RV park adjacent to the Backland Trail. The site includes over 40 lots equipped with water and sewer hook-up, and 20-30 amp electrical service.
