Port of Argentia welcomes Cenovus Energy’s decision to restart the West White Rose Project with operations ramping up in 2023 at the concrete gravity structure construction site at Argentia. 

The Port is looking forward to the benefits to the local supply community through the remaining construction period and the successful completion and tow-out in Q2 2025. Cenovus anticipates that up to 1700 people will be back on site during peak construction.
