Updates on Covid-19

Please be advised that the Port’s offices are open to the public, with protocols in place adhering to provincial guidelines regarding best practices and social distancing.

Port of Argentia offices will be closed to the public effective Monday, March 23, 2020 in response to Covid-19. Tenants, business proponents, contractors, and others may be accepted on a prearranged basis and will be asked to follow enhanced hygiene protocols. Those wishing to settle accounts with the Port are encouraged to use regular post to make payment. Couriers will be asked to drop off all packages in the outer vestibule at the main office. Port of Argentia is monitoring the advances of COVID-19 and taking steps to respond to the potential risks to all members of the Port community including our employees & contractors, tenants, port users and other stakeholders.

The Port is increasing its cleaning and hygiene protocols, restricting public access to its offices and facilities; suspending all business travel for employees; and conducting face-to-face meetings on a priority selective basis.
